General Terms and Conditions for the participation in seminars and workshops of imu augsburg GmbH & Co.KG

Course fee and participation

With the transfer of the seminar fee the registration for the seminar is binding. For cancellations by the participant up to 8 weeks before the event, we do not charge a processing fee. Cancellation must be made in writing. After that until the beginning of the event 50% of the seminar fee will be charged. If a participant does not appear at the event or leaves the event early, 100% of the course fee will be charged. If the seminar is cancelled by imu augsburg GmbH & Co. KG has to cancel the seminar, 100% of the course fees already paid will be refunded.

Liability

The liability of imu augsburg GmbH & Co.KG is – regardless of the legal basis – limited to intent and gross negligence. The limitation of liability applies in particular to claims arising from possible damage caused by the application of the contents and the advice given and their interpretation in a direct or indirect way and as a result.

The limitation of liability shall not apply to damages resulting from injury to life, body or health, which are based on a negligent or intentional breach of duty by imu augsburg GmbH & Co.KG or one of its legal representatives or vicarious agents. This limitation of liability shall also not apply in the case of fraudulent misrepresentation or the assumption of a guarantee.

Furthermore, the limitation of liability shall not apply to damages resulting from the violation of a so-called cardinal obligation (i.e. a contractual obligation which makes the proper execution of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment the participant regularly relies and may rely). Insofar as liability is excluded or limited, this shall also apply to seminar leaders, organisers, representatives or vicarious agents of imu augsburg GmbH & Co.KG (limited liability).

Duty of the participant to inform

It is pointed out that the topics discussed and the processes worked on are not intended for the diagnosis and treatment of medical and mental illness. In the event of a corresponding indication, the participants and users are urged to consult a competent and appropriately trained physician, psychologist, alternative practitioner or therapist. The participants and users undertake to inform the organizer before the start of the seminar whether they are undergoing psychotherapeutic or psychiatric treatment and/or are taking psychotropic drugs (medication).
